The new regulations can better protect the safety and health of users of personal protective equipment, more effectively supervise the EU market, ensure fair competition among vendors in the market, and simplify the existing EU regulations and laws. Guo Yu explained in detail the changes in the definition of obligations of all parties in the supply chain, scope of application, CE certificate, technical documents, qualification accreditation of public announcement agencies and other aspects of the new regulations compared with the original instructions. He explained the unchanged contents in the regulations such as PPE product risk classification, type inspection and certification process, and coordination standards, and analyzed the impact brought by PPE production enterprises.
